Prof. Pat Utomi, a leader in the Labour Party and the head of the Centre for Value in Leadership, has advised Nigerians to support a presidential candidate who they want their kids to look up to.

This was revealed by Utomi on Sunday in a tweet.

“May we not vote for people we would not want our children to be like. If we do we are not citizens. We just may belong to the lower rungs the Greeks called tribesmen or worse, idiots,” he tweeted.

Utomi had said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) erred by nominating a sick person as the party’s candidate in the 2023 presidential election.

He had argued that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, rather than Bola Ahmed Tinubu, should have been the party’s top choice.

“Physically, you can see he is ailing. Let’s not kid ourselves. Let’s be honest,” He had stated during an Interview with Channels Television.

Additionally, he denied APC assertions that Tinubu is well, saying that “American presidents undergo medicals.

“Let him (Tinubu) go through medicals with Nigerian doctors and make it (result) public.”
