Super TV CEO: Court Remands Chidinma Ojukwu Over The Alleged Murder Of Usifo Ataga

Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, the 21 years old Unilag student and the prime suspect in the murder of Super TV CEO Usifo Ataga, was remanded in court on Monday, August 9, 2021, by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos.

 

It was on June 16 that Usifo was found dead at a shortlet apartment in Lekki Phase I and the police arrested his lover, Chidinma on June 23, 2021, as the prime suspect. Afterward, Chidinma confessed to stabbing the late Super TV CEO multiple times with a knife under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

 

The Magistrate Mrs. Adeola Adedayo, arraigned Chidinma with two other suspects in the case. She is to be remanded in prison for 30 days pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
